Why
become a Member of the Mt. Diablo Audubon Society?
To do your part in protecting the well being of our community's
people, birds, other wildlfe, and habitat through conservation, education and
advocacy. Our current community project are:
- Constructing
a viewing platform and plant native vegetation at McNabney Marsh in conjunction
with East Bay Regional Park District.
- Providing
school-based education programs.
- Offering
fifty field trips a year in the greater Bay Area and the State.
- Organizing
two Contra Costa County Christmas Bird Counts.
- Developing
the Contra Costa County Breeding Bird Atlas.
- Creating
MDAS web site for education, communication, and membership development
